Chelsy Davy is perhaps most well known as the girlfriend of England’ Prince Harry. Chelsy was born in October 1985 in Zimbabwe; her parents are Charles and Beverley Davy. Her parents are millionaire safari operators in Zimbabwe and they reportedly have ties to the regime of Robert Mugabe. Chelsy in her own right is a smart girl, growing she attended the best schools and in 2006, she graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Economics.

In 2007, Chelsy moved to England to work on her postgraduate law studies at University of Leeds. In 2008, she was hired as an intern for Farrer and CO, a London based law firm. But Chelsy will always be most known for her relationship with Prince Harry. Chelsy and Prince Harry have been publicly dating since 2004. They do not hide their relationship and his fondness for her grows everyday. Most recently they attended the wedding of Peter Phillips to Autumn Kelly in May 2008. This was the first Royal family function that Chelsy has attended as girlfriend of Prince Harry.

Chelsy and Prince Harry’s relationship shows no signs of slowing down. She is not eligible for Royal protection but she is well protected when she is without Prince Harry. Chelsy and Prince Harry are sometimes seen double dating with Prince William and his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton. Both women are said to have the Queen’s approval.

In 2006, Chelsy was robbed at gunpoint when she was eating in a restaurant in Cape Town. Thankfully she was not hurt. Chelsy has also been the focal point for gossip magazine from everything from her relationship with Prince Harry to rumors involving her parents. Chelsy takes its all in stride and publicly does not let anything bother her. The Tattler Magazine named her as the second most powerful blonde girl in England. A title she much appreciated.

The Future of Chelsy and Prince Harry

There are many public perceptions of Chelsy but only those close to her know the real Chelsy. The Royal Family seems to have accepted her as Prince Harry’s girlfriend. Will we see a Royal wedding in the future? Only time will tell, Prince Harry is excelling at his career as a soldier and Chelsy is still going to school to obtain her law degree.
